You probably weren’t expecting a “KickStart Me!” for today! It’s been awhile since I’ve had the time to squeeze one of these in during Poetry Podcast off-day’s, however, with some of the new and upcoming moves TVC will be taking, KSMD’s will be returning on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s from here on out!
We’re featuring a talented artist and her Project for today’s “KickStart Me!” Let’s not waste any time and jump right into it!
Arielle Mac Arthur is a singer-song writer based out of Los Angeles, California who has so far lived, a very crazy life, with music at the center! At a very young age, Arielle was diagnosed with cancer, and whilst fighting it, used music as her every outlet during those time. “Whether I was listening to the Barney soundtrack, watching my dad drum to the Billy Joel album, or singing the weird songs that I made up in my head, I genuinely believe that music was a huge part of my survival and has molded me into who I am today not only as a musician, but as a person as well.”
At the young age of 17, immediately after high school graduation, Arielle moved to many different locations; staying in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Nashville, Tennessee and even all the way to Europe for a period of time. Despite her constant transition of locations, her music has always been by her side, expanding, developing, and advancing with every new person she met, with every new location she reached. “-whether I was playing at different venues, busking on the streets, or simply writing down my thoughts and turning them into lyrics, it has all contributed to the songs that I can’t wait to share with you all.”
Since then, Arielle has now settled in LA, and has continued to make music till this very day. Enrolled at the Musicians Institute, Arielle both met and connected with many talented producers and engineers in the music industry, and has since then been working very hard to bring her music to ears around the world!
Arielle’s first ever EP is now in the works! With all the lyrics and melodies having already been written, all she needs is your support to help this EP come to fruition! With a goal of $7,000 and 11 days to go, Arielle’s EP project is up on KickStarter for those of you who are interested in helping bring this EP to life, to be able to directly support the funding of the EP.
