Hey there people of the interwebz! This is Glake here, posting yet again another update to our long and painful process of getting TheVirtualCavern.com fully functional for all of the things that we will be\u00a0implementing\u00a0onto the site very very soon. For the most part, the difficult work is done, such as obtaining a layout that works along with the proper plugins to display what you need to be displayed. This post will just be a quick little update of what has been added and what will begin to come up on the site within the coming week or so.<\/p>\n

The PhotoStream<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n -This specific add-on will be mainly exclusive to show casing art for the art promotion we do. This add-on allows us to showcase multiple art works along with a write-up. The\u00a0separate\u00a0area for the write-ups will mainly be used for the artist we are promoting to discuss briefly about his or her art, themselves, and where you can further find their work, and anything else they feel would be\u00a0necessary\u00a0to mention. This feature will definitely be looked at to be updated in the future, whether we simply update the software or\u00a0implement\u00a0something entirely new, we’ll be looking to expand on it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Media Projects\/Video Feed<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n You will not be able to see how this add-on works at the moment due to no sort of video or media file installed upon it, but once I get something up to showcase, you’ll see how it works. It’s pretty much your basic video\/media feed where videos along with a description that will direct you to a\u00a0separate\u00a0page. If I can remember correctly, this add-on does feature a slider for displaying multiple media, but if not, several more will more than likely be added onto the home page. \u00a0This Add-on will mostly be used to displaying video feeds, as I have something else ready for just music based projects.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What is yet to come<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Throughout the next several weeks I will be working to put these new features in full\u00a0function, and start displaying some projects. There are quite a few more add-ons coming as well so keep an eye out. I am also aiming to actually get featured project articles on the site starting next week! These articles will mainly feature picks of new projects on the web, whether newly started, looking for funding, or etc. As stated before KickStarter will be a big source in this project in discovering new projects.
