Hey guys & gals! Glake here, bringing you the first KickStart Me Daily of our 2013 Season!
Now, I must admit at the forefront that this KMD was a bit of a biased choice on my end, with Falling Up being my all time favorite band, however I did feel that this would be a great opportunity to help show the bands more recent activity, as some may know, they did take an indefinite break a few years back, but are now back, and working on their most recent project entitled “Machine De Ella” But without further ado, let’s get into today’s KMD.
Falling Up is a band based out of Albany Oregon. They debuted their first album “Crashings” back in 2004, and followed up with 5 more albums, as well as their 6th and 7th, which have been in production this year, and has already been released “digitally” to those who have helped fund the project. The project is entitled “Machine De Ella” and features 2 full length albums, and one Audio Book. The full length Albums, entitled “Hours” & “Midnight on EarthShip” Hours being based off of the audio book that is apart of the project as well, that is also titled “Hours”. Now that both albums, are recorded and done, as well as the audio book, the Falling Up team is looking to take the project to the next level, yes that’s right, they are looking to distribute physical copies of the albums for all of us Falling Up fans to add to our awesome collection. And right now, they need our help to fund the project.
With a goal of $2,000 to fund the creation of these physical albums, they are looking to us fans for some help. But that’s not all, there are some very possible bonuses, that can be added if this goal is surpassed on a certain level. If they can reach $2,500 in funding or more, we could see some very new band photos from them in the very near future. Reaching $3,000 or more, could land us a brand new “Hours” song, that has already been written, and has said to relate between story connections of “FANGS” and “Hours”. And finally, if they can reach the goal of $5,000 or more, a brand new music video, which would feature a song from the Hours album, could be playing on our home screens sometime soon! So some very exciting additions if higher funds can be reached.
But as far as rewards for us as fans go, Falling Up has set up some awesome rewards for those who do decide to help fund the project within certain price ranges. Here’s the list.
