Hey guys & gals! Glake here bringing you a quick KSMD before the start of the first episode of the live-show for Season 1. This was a KickStarter that I personally took a lot of interest in, as the art-style that was being featured is the type that I tend to be really into.
Athea Eberhardt is a young photographer that has a dream of to share her photography with the people throughout the atmosphere of art festivals. She grew up attending art festivals throughout various areas within the Midwest as her father himself was a wildlife artist, and held art shows of his own. As she has recently graduated from college in Georgia, she has been looking for the best way to get her work to the public. She enjoys art festivals not only for the reason of show-casing her work, but also meeting people and artists alike, and being able to discuss her work with others face to face. She has researched local festivals, supplies, and start up, and has decided she will be doing her first show this Summer.
It is very interesting the way Athea tends to categorize her style of photography, as she refers to it as allegorical portraiture. She say’s she is able to tell a piece of a story with each of her images, and I truly believe that her photography definitely fits that description. Athea has needed a to reach a pledged foal of $3,000 but has already met and passed this goal, while now being at a pledged goal of $3,030.
