Good Afternoon Everyone! It’s been a very long time since I’ve shown my face around the official TVC site. A few months back I launched a sub-site (Official TVC Blog) basically announcing that TVC operations were soon to resume. Things to a lot more time than I originally intended to start working on TVC once again within my daily life, so here I am once again back in action! This time around though, I’m here to stay, I promise!

Today’s KSMD features a band I came across only a few days ago, their sound caught my ear right away, and I felt this would be the perfect project to share with you all on the first KSMD in a very long time! I will be pushing KSMD’s out as often as possible, though, there may not be one every single day like their used to be, as I’d like to spend more time focusing on other content to upload onto the site. Hopefully you all will find this one interesting and to your liking, let’s jump right into it!

A Yawn Worth Yelling is an indie band based out of San Jose, California. Founded in 2010 these passionate, yet young group of individuals set out on a journey to make awesome music while at the same time aiming to succeed within the Band scene. Now, 5 years later they’re seeking to complete and release their 5th EP “Play Pretend”.

The concept of the EP is stated to be about “what it means to be visible, but wishing you weren’t.” The tracking for the EP was finished back in December, but now they are looking to KickStarter and their loyal fans to help them officially release this EP to the world.

The currently goal is $7,500, with costs being split among recording, mastering, promotion, merchandise, and publishing. With $1,340 currently raised, and 12 days remaining, they have quite a ways to go, however I’m sure they’ll be able to come through!

For those of you who may be interested in helping fund the project, they’ve setup some awesome rewards for those who do decide to pledge the project. Check them out!
