KickStart Me! Oliver Windle – Debut EP

Hello everyone!

Glake here with today’s KickStart Me! I apologize for missing Monday’s article. So far this week has been a bit hectic and it was a bit tough to squeeze in some time to write something up on Monday, so here I am today, with what was supposed to be Monday’s featured Project.

So without further ado, let’s jump right into it!

Oliver Windle, is a singer/songwriter/musician based out of Lincoln, UK.

Ever since age of 13, Oliver has been interested in creating music. It was a growing passion for him that started at such a young age, and is now something he wishes to do for the rest of his life.

In 2015, Oliver made the decision to leave University and per-sue  his dream of creating a career out of his passion of creating music.

My heart was set on Music, it’s all I did in my spare time, and it’s all I do in my spare time now. It’s not just a hobby, but a passion, a passion I want to pursue with all my heart and energy! I am currently working a dead end job in a warehouse and I find my head is constantly in another place. I’m thinking about the chord sequence I played around with on the piano at 6am  that morning, or how I’m going to add a little more reverb to those drums.

Oliver has now taken the next step to achieving his dreams, as he has just launched a KickStarter Project for his debut EP, entitled, “Kites”.

The EP will feature tracks Oliver has written throughout the past year, and hopes that this will be the big leap into diving into his dream career. Of course, in order to make this EP possible, he’s going to need some of our help!

As we all know, music production can be a very expensive process, especially when you are aiming for your tracks to be very god quality. Mixing and Mastering services tend to not run so cheap, so Oliver has setup a KickStarter Page in hopes of supporters helping to turn this EP into a reality.

As with most creative projects, it relies on commitment, hard-work and willingness to succeed in doing what you set out to do. I am 3 tracks into the 5 track EP, fully committed to this project and my momentum is not slowing!

I have set the release for around June/July. It’s likely that the EP will be finished before then, however I didn’t want to put myself under the pressure of working to a very strict deadline, It works best for me to give myself room to breath. If the EP is finished before then, you will get it before then! I will of course keep you updated 🙂

Oliver has one of those unique, fresh, sounds to his music that I think makes him very appealing as an artist. I think once his work is mixed and mastered, his sound with come together even better!

With 21 days reaming on the project, and a goal of $2,081; it’s going to be a long marathon for Oliver to reach the goal, however I do believe it’s possible to reach!
