Do we have any vocabulary nerds out there who want a new and challenging word game? Well I bring you, “Letter Chess”! This is a personal favorite of mine, because I always find myself scouring the web looking for some new and interesting two player word games.
The creator of this game says, “Training our brain is becoming a trend in the pursuit of brain fitness.” The main purpose of the game is to fill in as many white squares with letters to form words. But what makes this game stand out, is that you can’t place a full word down, you can only place one letter at a time. Leaving it to be a bit trickier than crossword puzzles, and adding a little flavor from chess.
The creator, Henrick Jeanty, is hoping to earn enough money to put together a good working prototype, and to try and get this game out on computers and phones for the public to enjoy.
